The safety of all people and animals is the absolute top priority at Easy Season Lawncare. No lawncare machinery of any kind will be used in the immediate vicinity of anyone besides the operator. This is a no-exception rule, and it is expected from everyone employed by Easy Season Lawncare that they maintain a safe distance from all bystanders, be aware of all discharge locations while in operation, and that they disengage blades, blowers, and any trimmer tools if approached by another person. If you are made aware of or witness any event that appears to have been performed in an unsafe manner, please reach out directly to 815-601-4946.
To help mitigate the risk of vehicle and implement/trailer damage from machinery or thrown debris, it is company policy to maintain a roughly two foot radius around any vehicles on the property, operational or not. The particular conditions and requirements of a property may change the safety radius maintained by the operator. For example, vehicles parked on the street near the curb will still be mowed near, but may not receive string trimming or edging in the vicinity. However, vehicles parked on the lawn area will have a larger mowing safety radius left around them. If you are made aware of or witness any event that appears to have been performed in an unsafe manner, please reach out directly to 815-601-4946.
Everyone employed by Easy Season Lawncare is required to wear hearing and eye protection while using any company machinery, tools, or implements. As hearing and vision damage can occur for anyone in the immediate vicinity of machinery, it is requested that you get the attention of the operator before attempting to approach them, so that blades, blowers, and any trimmer tools can be first be disengaged and any communication can be done safely. Please keep in mind, that because of the use of hearing protection, the operator may not immediately be aware of your presence based on sound alone. PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH ANY MACHINERY FROM BEHIND WHILE IT IS IN OPERATION. If you are made aware of or witness any event that appears to have been performed in an unsafe manner, please reach out directly to 815-601-4946.
It is our goal to leave our customers with complete satisfaction with any and all performed lawncare services. If you notice something that wasn't done to your standards, we encourage you to speak up! Communicating concerns directly to the crew on site can often lead to an immediate resolution of any problems that could possibly arise, and the team at Easy Season Lawncare is more than happy to amend any areas that you feel aren't up to snuff. We understand that accidents do happen from time to time, and if anything was overlooked during your service, don't hesitate to reach out directly to 815-601-4946 for prompt resolution.
While we know it's not ideal, for the safety of our employees and health of your grass, it is our policy to cease operations for the day if temperatures have reached 90º by midday/noon, or if the heat index reaches 100º. These numbers are up to our discretion based primarily on the health and safety of the crew involved in your services. While we understand that it can be upsetting to have to reschedule services, it's also important to keep in mind that moisture is critical to the health of your lawn, and that mowing leaves an open wound on your grass that can easily lose moisture in higher temperatures and dry out, leaving you with a crunchy, brown, dehydrated lawn. Rest assured, it is our standard to finish service on any in-progress property before ceasing operation, so there's no need to worry about a partially completed task.
As high quality service is our goal, if we receive more than a quarter inch of rain, it is our policy to cease mowing operations until the soil feels dry to touch, with a minimum of ONE HOUR since the rain has ended. When mowing operations resume, any wet or pooling water areas will be avoided for the current service. While this may seem dramatic, we can't stress enough how little moisture it takes to soften the ground to an extent that heavy equipment like mowers will start to make ruts in your soil, causing uneven cutting, bumpy lawns, and unhappy grass. On particularly sloped or hilly properties, it can also cause sliding and spin-out, which leaves unsightly skid marks in your turf. Our best effort will be made to finish service on any in-progress property before ceasing operation, but operator discretion will be used, as employee/bystander safety and damage prevention are top priority.
